How Will You Spend the #Last90Days of the Decade?

On October 1st, one million people (ok, not 100% sure of the exact number but close to that amount) will join together and make 5 small changes in their lives to leave 2019 with as much intention and passion as they started the new year with. This is known on social media as #Last90Days. Today marks the last quarter of the DECADE! If you are ready to level-up your life, TODAY is the day!

In case you haven’t checked the New York Time’s bestseller list, or any other major media outlet recently, Ms. Rachel Hollis has not only taken the personal development space by storm but also has a cult-like following in the small-business and entrepreneurial world.

People don’t need a new week, month, or year to work towards their goals. Rachel Hollis is so passionate about getting started and continuing to reach for a better version of yourself each day that she and her husband, Dave, do a live webcast every weekday morning called the “Start Today Show.”

Each October 1st, Rachel Hollis launches a challenge called the “Last 90 Days,” to help her community live the last quarter of the year as intentionally as they started the first quarter of the year. Hello, New Year Resolutions and all of the fire, fury, and determination we all rush into the new year with!

Last 90 Days

As female entrepreneurs, most often the Last 90 Days of the Year are the most stressful.

Imagine running a retail business, where most of your sales are done during the holiday season, so you can make the income to make the holiday season magical for your family, fund Santa’s workshop, and on top of that deal with your extended family (who let’s face it, can make you a little crazy on the best of days)!

It is easy to see how that can make you go off the rails and bring out the worst in your habits. After all, you are going to start a diet on January 1st, right? Or so we all say. . .

Steps for rocking The Last 90 Days Challenge:

1. Head over to the Hollis Company’s website to sign up for the #Last90Days challenge

2. Embrace #5toThrive

  •  Get up an hour earlier than you normally do and use the time for yourself.
  • Move your body for 30 minutes EVERYDAY
  • Drink half of your body weight in ounces of water each day. Kate weighs 148 lbs and therefore drinks AT LEAST 74 oz of water each day. Check out Kate’s favourite water bottle in Canada and the United States

  • Give up one food category that you know you shouldn’t be eating. Both Kate and Rachel are doing #SoberOctober. Read more about #SoberOctober here.
  • Write down  5 things you’re grateful for every single day. Hollis Co makes this very easy with their Start Today Journals.
