I love all things fall.
Check out my fall bucket list and with so many cute things to do, you’ll see why.
Seriously, I mean how could you not. Don’t get me wrong, summer is great but there is something about fall that is just so perfect. The crisp mornings, warm afternoons, beautiful colours and PUMPKIN SPICE everything. If you need great things to do this fall look no further than my bucket list.
Get a PSL
Obviously the first thing is: get your hands on a PSL or another delicious version of it! (if the pumpkin spice latte isn’t your thing I strongly recommend the pumpkin chai).
Yes, I know, we wait all winter long for summer and the warm sun on our skin and I shouldn’t be wishing it away. But there is so much to love about it, fall has the best fashion, the best food and the best weather, which is why it also makes for the best time to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Keep scrolling for a few of my favourite fall activities.
Go apple picking.
I love apple picking in late September or early October. I usually go Barrie Hill Farms. This year I am going to pick some Granny Smith and some MacIntosh apples to make pies. Grab a bunch of friends, take your family or get a date to the orchard and get out there. If you’re in Toronto and not interested in making a trip to Barrie, (I get it) you can also check out Downey’s Farm which is not too far away. I actually just picked up a few apples from there this past monday and they were so good!
Visit the pumpkin patch.
It doesn’t get more #basic than this. But going to the pumpkin patch is a great tradition for all ages. Even if you’re like me and don’t have kids it is still so much fun and great to visit the farm, go on a wagon ride and pick your favourite pumpkin to go home and carve. I always get my pumpkin at Chappell Farms. I actually just ordered my pumpkin carving kit from amazon.
A fall hike.
Enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful scenery in the fall is a must do on my bucket list. Living in Toronto makes going to the Scarborough Bluffs really easy but if you live somewhere else you can check out any of the great Ontario Parks. Take your pick.
Drink apple cider.
Let’s face it, fall is about eating and drinking. It happens to have the best holiday on the calendar Thanksgiving. I love curling up and having a cup of hot apple cider. I recently just had an amazing cider at the Orillia Fall Fair. But you can also just buy a jug of it from your local farmer’s market, warm it up on the stove and add a cinnamon stick. Pair this tasty treat with my fall watch list and it sounds like the perfect night in.
I actually just finished putting together my fall tablescape with so many white mini pumpkins and while this is not necessarily a bucket list item it is essential! Here is a sneak peak … stay tuned!
