Father’s Day Gift Guide

Hello June! Father’s day is fast approaching and we put together this Father’s Day gift guide to help you shop for every type of dad in your life!

Father-daughter relationships can be so impactful. Whether you have a father figure, stepdad, biological dad or mom that pulled double duty, we want to recognize them for all they have done and continue to do.

The outdoorsy dad

Let’s be real here, the options for activities are a bit limited right now. But, that doesn’t mean everything has to be limited. Regional conservation authorities have put together season passes for their parks so people can enjoy hiking trails all summer long! This pass would make an excellent fathers day gift and if you get it early, you can save! Check out the details here.

The adventurous dad

For valentine’s day two years ago, I bought my husband Maple Leaf’s tickets. This was a big gift that I was so excited to gift him. But, then, the world shut down and our game was the first cancelled event. It was sad, but I had to figure out a new plan. If your husband is like mine, he is interested in everything adventure and tech. So, I bought him a two-person flight around Toronto out of the Brampton flight center. It was a great valentine’s day gift and would make a perfect father’s day gift.

The work from home dad

When work from home was implemented, we were not prepared. Our office desk sits in the middle of our living room. Not ideal for having multiple people working from home. So my husband took the basement for his office space. He has been hunched over on a wooden table, sitting on a wooden chair. His computer screens are squished together, and it does not look inspiring. So this year for father’s day, me and my son are gifting my husband a new workspace. It has been hiding under blankets in the garage, so he may have an idea of what is under there, but nonetheless, I think it will make for a nice surprise once set up. That is the other thing, my husband is our handyman, so putting it together should be fun to try! Wish me luck!

The executive dad

Last father’s day, me and my sister Noelle won father’s day. We gave our dad the gift that kept giving. In fact, my mom was even envious of the awesome gift idea! We gifted our dad a Sprezza Box. This box is a subscription service, and I am so in love with subscription boxes because new items are sent out monthly. You can allow customization on your Sprezza Box so your dad can pick his favorite box combo!

The new dad

When my husband and I became new parents, security and temperature control became very important. We were able to accomplish both of these goals through Nest. Nest thermostat has an additional feature where you can buy a separate thermostat pod to put inside the nursery, so you can always control the temperature in the baby’s room.

The foodie Dad

My family and I recently discovered an awesome delivery charcuterie service called Good Grazers. They have so many platters to choose from and this paired with a delicious bottle of wine, or dad’s favourite beer may be the best option this Father’s day!

The tech-savvy dad

Tech-savvy dads may be super excited to know their car stats! An OBD2 Scanner plugs right into your car or accesses the car’s information via bluetooth. Keep in mind that bluetooth enabled scanners are only compatible with android devices and wifi enabled scanners are only compatible with Apple. This tool works with a phone app and will allow the special dad in your life to diagnose any car issues with the touch of a button. Check engine light came on? No problem. Dad will be prepared!

The sentimental dad

I recently discovered customizable kids books via Wonderbly. I think this book will be a great gift that dads can read to their kids before bedtime. It’s also a great keepsake! Don’t forget to inscribe the book with a message from your child to dad.

We hope this Father’s Day gift guide will help you choose the perfect gift for your dad!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads! A Special Happy Father’s Day to my dad!
