Three Books to Read to Feed Your Travel Bug

books

For the past year and a half I have dreamt of nothing other than the time when I could hop onto a plane again and jet off to one of the many places on my bucket list. I would love nothing more than to travel to a European country or New York City. Anything to feed the travel bug that had been gnawing at me, and causing me to plan expensive trips in my head that I would never go on.

Books have always been an outlet for me. With every new book, comes a new adventure, or a new love story that makes me feel like I am living the characters’ lives for a brief moment. Naturally, given the current circumstances, I have begun to look to books to feed my travel bug, and what I found did not disappoint. I researched all the romance novels that took place in countries and cities I had been longing to travel to, and today I thought I would share them with you. So, if you love romance and travel, have a look through the list below, you will surely find a trip just for you.

Shipped by Angie Hockman

Dreaming of a Caribbean vacation? Love enemies to lovers romances? If you said yes to both of those questions then, Shipped is the perfect book to read! Henley is a marketing manager, who has just been short-listed for her dream promotion. The catch? She has to take a cruise with her arch nemesis and co-worker, who is also up for the position. Set in the Galapagos, this one will have you feeling like you took the trip with them!

The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler

I can honestly say, before reading this book taking a trip to Alaska was never on my bucket list, but now it is! This book follows Zoey on her dream trip to Alaska, where she meets a grumpy local named Graham. The two hit it off and enter into a vacation romance all of us could only dream of. Written through both characters’ points of view, this book will have you swooning and booking a one-way ticket to Alaska.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Who doesn’t love a good trip to Maui? After a wedding disaster, Olive Torres and the best man and nemesis, Ethan Thomas jump at the chance to take the couple’s free honeymoon trip to Maui. Agreeing to a truce, the pair pretend to be newlyweds. What starts off as an innocent charade, quickly turns into something more. This rom-com will have you giggling and imagining yourself on the beach watching unfold in real time.
