Hello Pretty & Smart Co. after a short hiatus on the writing front I am back with a review of Fancy Face! What is Fancy Face you ask? Well, it is a Toronto-based company that offers, makeup services, skincare products and a proprietary line of makeup too! It truly is the one-stop-shop for all things for your face and everything is PRETTY FANCY. Their founder Brittney Gray has paid such attention to detail that even the packaging is gorgeous.
At the beginning of May, a friend and I went to the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto to attend an event put on by the lovely ladies at Run the World Summit. They put on a beautiful event. It was afternoon tea, a keynote speaker, networking and you could even get a headshot done! They also served Sloane Tea which is a PSCO. favourite as long-time readers will know!
The event was very Pretty & Smart! ✨
The event’s keynote speaker was the founder of Fancy Face, Brittney. She shared a wonderful story about how she went into business for herself. Brittney’s story was inspiring and honest. She spoke about the transformative power of makeup and the role it can play in your confidence (feeling Pretty & Smart). She also gifted all of the women a wonderful variety of her skincare products. We received full-size products (unheard of I know!), all of which are extremely beautiful and made with clean ingredients!
SO let’s get into the good stuff!
Stardust Gel Eye Masks
These eye masks are truly so cute! I love that there are little stars in them. It reminds me so much of Y2K (super trendy I know). They smell great and do a great job of hydrating under your eyes. I put mine in the fridge before I used them and would totally recommend that. If you’re in the market for eye masks you’ll certainly want to give these a try. They really do make your face feel fancy.
Supermodel Lip Bath
The second product I tried out was the Supermodel Lip Bath. It’s made with honey, shea butter, and collagen need I say more? Plus it smells amazing. It goes on your lips like butter and is really hydrating and creamy. If you’re interested in getting your hands on this you can here. The macaroon-shaped packaging really does it for me, the fact that the product is amazing is just an added bonus. OH, and I used my finger (we all make mistakes) but that tiny little knob on top is actually a pop out want to apply the product.
Poetry in Potion Serum
The title of this product, the packing of this product and the serum itself are all 10/10. It almost makes me want to write in poetry? I’ll stick to prose. To be honest, I am a sucker for anything that’s 24k gold-infused. I love those 24k gold face masks. This serum feels clean going on, reduces redness, and it really does give you a fancy face. If you’re interested in trying it out follow the link here.
Daydream Rosewater Cream
Brittney also generously gifted us her Daydream Rosewater Cream! I don’t always love the smell of rosewater, but because the product goes on so nicely I was able to get past that. The rose scent is subtle, but it is there. The cream gives you that nice dewy glow and leaves no film/residue. It also has Vitamin C in it which is a great ingredient to have in a face cream. If you’re a rosewater gal, you can get it here.
I hope you find my review helpful! All of the products are clean and beautiful. It was so generous of Brittney to gift them. If you do end up trying out any of the products let me know, I’d love to hear from you. And if you’re in Toronto and interested in an event like this, Run the World Summit puts on events like this one every month. That’s all from me!
Until next time, B.
